Building A fronting Quarry has (4) two-story townhomes classified as R-2 occupancy over (3) ground level R-1 studios designed as short-term rentals. Building B is a three-story, six unit long-term rental apartment building. The zoning classification for the property is Village Transition Area #3 in the recently adopted Lake Grove Village Center Overlay zone, part of the GC zone of the Lake Oswego Zoning Code. As such, every inch on the site was accounted for in order to meet required parking, landscaping, tree preservation, utility setbacks, trash access, and stormwater management needs. The buildings themselves were also required to meet fenestration minimums, a predetermined aesthetic style, building wall plane changes, roof articulation, and ground floor coverings.
